FAQ
For your convenience, I compiled a list of frequently asked questions that my students and their parents ask most.
Not finding an answer? Send me a message via my Contact page and I will be in touch with you promptly.
Where are you located?
I normally teach at my home studio located in the Sheepshead Bay area of Brooklyn, NY, but am willing to commute to a New York City location of your choice.
What are the age requirements for your students?
I have successfully taught students from 5 to 75 years old.
Do you prepare students for admission to specialized schools and programs for talented children?
Yes. I am pleased to say that, to date, every one of my students, who have worked with me to prepare for admission to a specialized middle or high school including Bay Academy, Mark Twain High School, LaGuardia High School, and Professional Performing Arts School was later accepted by the school of their choice. Please note that preparing for such a program requires time and dedication from the students and their parents. Therefore, the earlier you start working with me, the greater the chances will be for your child to gain admission to the school of their dreams.
Do you work with adult students?
Yes, I do and enjoy it very much. There are no age restrictions on learning to appreciate and play music. All that is required is your desire to learn and a determination to succeed. I will help you with the rest.
Do you accompany for professional singers?
Yes, I do and enjoy it very much. I also can help you with singing Russian repertoire.
I have a piano at home, will you be able to teach me at my home?
If you live in Manhattan and Brooklyn, I might be able to commute for your lessons. Please send me a note to discuss it.
